We were able to trace the problem to an internal broken process:

  • The required sales documentation did not include the specifics required by installers to complete the jobs; therefore,
  • Changing the sales documentation requirements to include the specifications eliminated the core problem, in perpetuity.

By creating a more detailed checklist, the warehouse now had 100% complete material lists:
